Pay app checker spreadsheet (G702 format)

Enter your numbers and the workbook checks them before you send the pay app. It catches the math errors that get a pay app sent back, and when everything ties it shows the amount you're asking for. Works in Excel.

What it checks

• The schedule of values adds up to the contract sum.
• No line is billed past its scheduled value.
• Retainage, paid to date, and cash up front are worked out the same way the G702 works them out.
• The amount requested is positive, and paid plus cash up front isn't more than what's earned.

It won't bounce on an error in those checks. It doesn't judge percent complete. That's the GC's call.

What the spreadsheet doesn't do

It tracks one job. Figures from earlier pay apps are typed in each time, so nothing stops them being changed by mistake. It doesn't send anything to the GC.
